Visit Tarangire National Park

The name of the park has been derived from the Tarangire River which is the main source of water in the park. Tarangire National Park is easily accessible from Arusha as it is just 121 Kilometres away and famously known as the paradise of elephants as it boosts to having largest number of elephant herds compared to the rest of National Parks in the country.

Together with Serengeti, Tarangire National Park also offers you a balloon safari experience and Night game drives as in Manyara National Park.

There are more than 500 bird species in the park which makes it one of the must visit destination for birders. Other animals found in the park includes leopards, lions, giraffes, waterbucks, wildebeest, zebras and cheetah.
