The six day safaris program combines beach life with wilderness activities in an unforgettable environment. African adventure safaris are available at Mikumi national park. A breathtaking landscape is found in the area, consisting of a variety of plant and animal species. The grassy plains are home to diverse wildlife such as buffalo, lions, giraffes, and elephants. Further, the greater kudu and sable antelope are found in the miombo woodlands, which are covered by foothills of mountains that rise from the park boundaries. The Miombo woodlands are home to over 400 bird species.In addition to exploring the wildlife, you will have the opportunity to embark to the spice island of Zanzibar. Enjoy a host of recreational activities such as fresh seafood tasting at Forodhani, a stone tour, a visit to Prison Island, beach relaxation, dolphin tours, snorkeling at Mnemba Reef, and spice tours.

30 Minutes Before Safari Time
You will meet and greet our professional driver guide on this day and drive directly to Mikumi National Park. On the way to Mikumi Park gate, we stop at a restaurant for lunch and a short break before continuing with our afternoon game drive until sunset. In the evening, drive to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart your accommodation for a sunrise game drive inside the park. Nature lovers are able to enjoy another unique and unforgettable experience when wild animals are more active and display interesting behaviors. At noon start to drive back to Dar es salaam and drop off at Azam ferry to the boat to Zanzibar Island. In the evening check on your accommodation for relaxation and at night you may visit Forodhani forest. dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, our professional guide led the Stone Town tour through a narrow street. The tour consists of a 3-hour walking tour during which you will have the opportunity to discover the local culture and historical sites. Then, enjoy a hot lunch at the restaurant in Stone and a short break before taking the boat to prison Island. There is a large tortoise sanctuary on this island and the oldest tortoise on the island is 192 years old. Turtles are not native to the Caribbean, but are colossal creatures, weighing in at an average of 200 kilograms and as old as 100 years (4 turtles are 150 years of age). You may feed the tortoise with cabbage and enjoy their behavior. Continue to your accommodation and transfer to Nungwi for dinner and overnight.

Meet your driver at the resort in the morning and transfer to Mnemba Island for snorkeling and diving. This trip will also include a tour of some of the world’s most famous marine species, including a dolphin safari, a once in a lifetime opportunity to see dolphins and possibly even swim with them. It is truly incredible to catch sight of such friendly marine creatures that jump out of the water like crazy. The evening will be spent at your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
