DAY 3: Central Serengeti to Ndutu Area:
Following breakfast, we will depart for the Ndutu area, located in the Ngorongoro conservation area, which is part of the southern Serengeti eco-system. Although Lake Ndutu, like most other rift lakes, is alkaline, the water is still drinkable and is consumed by a variety of local wildlife. In the afternoon, we will embark on a game drive in the Ndutu area. From December to April, the majority of the wildebeest migration can be found on the short-grass plains, making this area an excellent location for wildlife viewing. In addition to the wildebeest, the area is usually heavily populated with elephants, birds, and resident game.

But your driver-guide will also be on the lookout for other wildlife, too, using his expertise and ‘eagle-eyes’ to try to find elephant, lions, buffalo, leopard and cheetah – just some of the many, many species you will encounter in this stunning place.
